Power of Attorney

Συμβολαιογραφικές & Νομικές Υπηρεσίες

Power of Attorney is the notary deed by which a person (principal) authorises another person or persons (nominees) to represent such person jointly or separately and to proceed in his name with a certain action within the limits of the orders given to them.

The power of attorney also ceases upon death or by the legal inability of the one who granted or the one who received the power of attorney provided the opposite cannot be concluded.

Also, the power of attorney, when the opposite cannot be concluded, ceases from the moment that the legal relationship upon which it is based  was completed.

The power of attorney may be revoked by the principal at any time by notary deed of revocation thereof, for which the nominees must also be notified.

The power of attorney may be defined irrevocable only in the case where it involves the interests of the principal.
